Rajiv Arora ( Impact Your Destiny ) Rajiv Arora, a qualified engineer from BITS, Pilani was at the peak of a highly successful 20-year-corporate career when he surprised his family and friends by turning a social entrepreneur. It was then in 2009, while he was working as India’s Country Director at Delphi - the world’s largest automotive Component Manufacturer that he gave up his career and established Prakaash Trust. Initially, the trust supported the treatment and surgery for visually impaired children, but has now expanded to include senior citizens and education for the visually impaired. By the end of 2017, three thousand one hundred and twenty eight people have been treated in the OPD, and 155 surgeries have been performed to restore vision. He has funded this work using his creativity and establishing a self-sustaining social entrepreneurship, with the launch of the world’s smallest Bhagwad Gita in a pendant.
